Arjun Gurjar

Welcome to my website! I'm Arjun, a 3rd year at UC Berkeley studying MCB and Data Science.

I'm passionate about problems at the frontier of BioML, functional genomics, and mechanistic interpretability. Currently I'm working at Noetikon cancer foundation models. I'm also part of the Advanced Translational Genetics Lab at the Innovative Genomics Institute where I work on combinatorial pooled optical screens, deep mutational scanning, and stem cell models for disease.

I helped set up Computational Biology @ Berkeley and started the CompBio Bootcamp, and worked with Google Research on interpreting variant calling models. I am also a part of Phoenix Consulting Group where I led a project with the National MS Society on representation learning for multiple sclerosis patients. Previously I was a part of the UCSF–Gladstone Spitzer Lab working on engineering dendritic cells to overcome immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments.
